BELEK
This is a paradise on the Mediterranean Sea , quite a different world with its peculiar pine forest , created in the last century by the order of Sultan Abdülaziz II .Many years after that in 1963 , the Ministry of Forests of the Turkish Republic started to enlarge the forest for the purpose of preventing erosion in the productive Antalya valley , many acacia and eucalyptus trees were planted in this region.
The natured beauty of Belek was only discovered in 1984.At that time there was a narrow , road leading to the shore that was used by the personnel of the Ministry of forest for the protection of the forest.
However , in spite of this the local people in this region were occupying the shore in summer times.Thereupon , Belek was announced in 1984 as a "Tourism Center"
In the following Belek attained its present conditions and became an earth paradise.All of hotel and holiday villages classified as facilities and services to please the most fasttidious.Its the new face of Turkish tourism.
